Love: Dying Rhyme | Poetry

Flashing in the distant stare
My eyes are slowly shutting
Speeding wheels in the dark running
Lights in the streets fading

Done this again, isn’t rare
The thought of you reminiscing
I take a step back smiling
And I’m left alone breathing

I wonder how can I bare
To keep hiding this feeling
To not thought of loving
For it was you I was waiting

For the second time, I care
I thought of you not keeping
For I was afraid that I might end up hurting
So I hid my being

You’ve blinded me, I cannot bare
Coz’ I thought you were everything
All the while, I am not breathing
For I fought this heart for nothing

Suddenly, I am dying.
